The Reviews

The iPod Touch! One of Apple's greatly anticipated products.. the question is, did they deliver what they promised?

Well, firstly, the price isn't great! especially when you look at what else you can get on the market. For ?20 less you can get a 160GB iPod Video. Instead your getting either 8GB or 16GB - the equivalent to around 2000 or 4000 songs respectively.

So maybe the price lets it down, but let's look at what this thing actually is and what it's so 'hyped up' for. I'll start by giving you some background info on the Touch. It is an MP3 player (not the iPhone, although it looks the same!) it works in similar ways to the iPhone except you can't make phone calls. So what does it do?

The iPod Touch has a unique way of navigation whereby you use your fingers to glide across the screen in order to find the song or video you like. This is very effective and i simply love it! The only draw back is that when you first get the Touch you will experience... some difficulties. The sound quality is brilliant and the only slight drawback is that they supply you with the same earphones you recieve with a normal iPod.

Personally i love this new creation. Time after time in the past we saw similar looking iPods except for a smaller size. This really puts Apple into the next generation and keeps them in the top list of favoured manufacturers.

I would have liked to see some more memory for my music and videos because at the moment i can't even fit all my songs onto the 16GB version! But that is just me and i do have a rather large collection of music. For someone with a smaller library the 8GB Touch is perfect! It's not too big for your pocket and it is definately a great gimic to get your friends jealous.

Protection or Precaution?
Norton, McAfee, AVG, Bitfinder. All these companies promise to protect your PC from any virus or hacker that may want to harm your computer. But do any of them actually work? Or is it just fleecing you of yet more money for nothing!?
